Have you ever felt stuck?..
Stagnant, placed in an imprisoning fort either mentally or physically, debilitated by the uncertainty of how to unwind your being from what feels hopeless, tiresome,
to the extent of exhaustion that depletes parts of your existence or vigor for living?...
For many this can be a reality.
This would be a good time to oxygenate yourself through compassion.
One beautifully simple key is movement... Yes movement!
Movement is Powerful!
When you feel trapped in negative emotions, situations that create any toxic residue, begin to use every part of your internal and external body to encourage energetic flow. Release blockages that do not allow your happiness to come forth!
A simple tool that can change everything, MOVE, The Medicine of Motion...
Movement produces an awakening a stirring and shifting that simply affects every part of you, the key is knowing how and just doing it!
The human anatomy is a beautifully intricate form with such detailed construct, every part interconnected to flow through functionality.
Our emotion being, spirit being, intellectual and physical beings are all the soul embodiment and communicative portals that establish our holistic health. Knowing the connection aids our understanding when it comes to the power of healing. The signals sent to the mind (the central operating system that sends messages to all parts of us at all times) are connective cables that reinforce our ability or inability to establish hopeful rescue when we have abandoned the mission to save ourselves from any situation that is keeping us stuck.
So how do we begin to move?
There are various states of motion,
Move your body.
When your body has been in the same place for too long you experience a lethargy resulting from elements of stillness, chances are your mind too is patterned into a shut down state, believing it is tired and wilfully cannot find the inspiration to move.
You then have a choice dependent on your personalty type your triggers and things you naturally are drawn to. You can begin with movement around your own space, your home, your room, your business, change things around, do a spring clean allow some ideas to become a reality within the space around you as this is your haven, the newness will breath inspiration!
The internet is a resource centre at your disposal! You can begin a workout at home.
Begin to learn the importance of how to stretch, the impact of shifting tension through your body by simply knowing the correct ways to expand it and learn breathing techniques.
Take a walk, or a run outside, the energy of nature is a natural boost and will instantly give your soul a lift. Try something new, dance is a fun way to incorporate movement it is also a very spiritual practice that enriches the soul and takes on many forms.
Pick a new sport to participate in, this will not only facilitate your physical motion but can broaden your emotional connection to others in a communal atmosphere that is so healthy for the souls expansion.
Move your mind.
As you think, so you are!
Keep in mind that you ingest thoughts daily like medicinal pills prescribed in your mental garden, you take them and they become the practitioners of your perspectives. There is power in what and how you think. Take a moment to practice conscious thinking, cultivate a thought life that is regularly exercised, read, engage in conversations, watch and listen to sources of wealth that encourage personal growth.
It is not always easy especially when tough times arise but living in awareness can keep you actively seeking out the betterment of self.
Travel. This is of course a physical transit but the impact on ones mind is far more reaching. It creates dimension, interchangeable experiences that grow your mind, inspire your soul and renew the mundane thought life that sometimes precedes routine.
Meet new people, create experiences that become contributors to your world! This diversifies your life scope, allows an exchange of knowledge as you learn from others and enhance confidence if you step out of your comfort zones.
Create a to do list and highlight every completed task. This is a practical measure of accountability and will move your mentality into a confident place of accomplishment. Every accomplishment will feed your internal narrative and replace a redundant surrender with a rewarding self assurance - mental shift!
Move your spirit
Engage with your passions.
At the core of you there lives an answer to your existence. There are things that bring you to Life! Shake your soul up and cultivate love, find those things and pursue every element of fulfilment through them. The sentiment that ‘we all have a purpose, that there is more to life’ is not just a sweet saying it arrives from the reality that we exist beyond what we see.
Cultivate your faith.
Spiritual practices or spiritual disciplines have kept humanity evolving since the beginning of time. Prayer, meditation, ceremonies, rituals, instruments of connection that enhance your link to God, the knowledge of self are all vital components to our sustenance.

Spiritual development is the growth of a person as a whole!
`The most important thing to remember is every step counts, MOVE, allow your entire world to shift ...
1. SHE WAKES UP EARLY:
Did you know you are more likely to have a happier and more successful day, just by waking up a bit earlier and getting out of bed? Sometimes life is exhausting or we stay up way too late – and our bodies need rest. But happy people regulate their sleep well, get 7-8 hours of sleep and wake up refreshed and ready for a new day.
2. SHE FINDS HER SMILE:
And she finds it daily. After you wake up and hop in the bath/shower – do something that makes you feel good. Find your smile within the early stages of waking up – whether you turn on the radio, pray/meditate, cruise Social Media or have the perfect hair day! Find your smile and wear it ALL day long.
3. SHE SEES BEYOND IMPERFECTIONS:
Happy women understand that life isn’t going to be flawless. They don’t judge others – in fact, they love almost everyone they come in contact with. They look for the good in their co-workers, their family members and even in themselves.
4. SHE PATS HERSELF ON THE BACK:
We aren’t supposed to be too prideful – nobody wants to hang out with someone too into themselves. BUT – happy women are proud of what they do. They recognise when they accomplish something. They finish what they start. And they are always trying to become better.5. SHE GETS MOVING:As much as I would love to lay in bed and watch my favourite show re-runs all day in pyjamas – as a woman, we just can’t do that (at least not all the time). Get up, start moving and get your heart rate up. Go for a walk or run around the block. Go to the gym or do an at-home workout. After you get your body moving – I promise, you won’t regret it. “Man, I wish I didn’t work out,” said no one ever.6. SHE IS HER OWN FRIEND:We can be our own worst enemy or our own best friend – it is up to US to decide. Don’t let your mind bring you down or tell you not to be happy. You deserve to find joy. Happy people are their own best friend. They are proud of who they are and have confidence in what they do every day. Love the person in the mirror and think positively about yourself.7. SHE SURROUNDS HERSELF WITH HAPPY PEOPLE:It is true that your environment around you can make you who you are. Did you know if you are constantly with negative people, you are more likely to become negative too? We each rub off on each other and other people’s attitudes can truly affect ours.Be around those who uplift you and make you feel better.8. SHE IS GRATEFUL:Happy women rarely take a day for granted. They recognise that every day is a blessing. They don’t use the word “luck” – they know that everything happens for a reason and they are blessed. Count your many blessings – name them one by one.9. SHE HAS LEARNED TO SLOW DOWN:As women, often times we feel like we have so much to do. Give yourself a break. Take the time to smell the roses. Don’t feel like you need to do everything in one day. Happy women don’t compare themselves to others. They know who they are and they do their things at their own paces. Do what is best for you.10. SHE MAKES THE BEST OUT OF EVERYTHING:“The only way to get through life is to laugh your way through it. Find a way to focus on the up side and incorporate good habits to help you! We really do have two choices in every situation – choose the high road – smile, laugh and make the best of it.Happy women don’t have the best of everything – they just make the best of everything
Beyoncé has done it again.
The singer, legend, icon, superstar, released the official music video for the new original song "Spirit" from the upcoming remake of "The Lion King" and fans are losing their minds, it is gorgeous with an array of majestic backgrounds.
The video sees Queen Bey switching through a variety of flowing costume changes. It is gloriously vibrant and visually masterful, located in the midst of the desert (undoubtedly meant to represent Africa, where The Lion King is set).
The video is just so beautiful including Beyoncé, of course which makes it quite hard to pay attention to the lyrical content.
“Spirit” is a track off the upcoming album The Lion King: The Gift, which Beyoncé both produced and curated.
The album, to be released on the same day as the movie, is a 14-track accompaniment to the film, so it's almost like a bonus Beyoncé album.
In an interview with ABC ahead of the video's release, she called the album a "love letter to Africa."
"I wanted to make sure we found the best talent from Africa and not just use some of the sound and did my own interpretation of it. I wanted it to be authentic to what is beautiful about the music in Africa," she said.
“We’ve kind of created our own genre and I feel like the soundtrack is the first soundtrack where it becomes visual in your mind. The soundscape is more than just the music because each song tells the story of the film.”
It's not just talk. In addition to popular American artists like Kendrick Lamar and Childish Gambino, the album features musicians from Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon and South Africa.
Beyoncé is voicing Nala in the upcoming CGI reboot of The Lion King.
Blue Ivy Carter also makes a couple of appearances in the music video which makes us love this visual even more! In pretty wavy red hair she is every bit the adorable beauty reflective of her mother.
Alongside a variety of dancers, she is also featured on the upcoming album, The Lion King is a family experience, after all.
